Whats the difference between the 30th and the 50th Anniversary Joes?
The 30th anniversary G.I. Joes represent the first 4 (5 including the black action soldier) G.I. Joes released in 1964. These figures have a lot more accessories and the clothes are of better quality (material)than the Target G.I. Joes. The 30th Joes also came with 4 hair colors, red, yellow, brown and black and their lips are painted. The Target Joes had 3 hair colors, blonde, black and brown, their lips aren’t painted. Also the Target Joes are 50th ann. WWII figures, where as the 30th ann. Joes are more Vietnam era clothes and soldiers. The big difference in all of them would be the sailor and airforce. The sailor from the 30th series comes with 2 outfits, wet suit and dungaries. The Target sailor comes in classic navy outfit. The pilot from Target comes with a leather bomber jacket and tan flight suit. The 30th Anniversary Pilot comes in yellow flight suit and has a pilot helmet with parachute pack, but no parachute.
