What’s the difference between synthetic hair and human hair wigs?
Synthetic wigs are made of a man made base fiber, similar to plastic. The benefits to synthetic hair pieces are the easy care and maintenance, the natural look and movement. Synthetic wigs are about half the cost of human hair wigs. However, being made of a synthetic fiber, extra care must be taken when around heat. Any heat based styling products (such as blower dryers, irons, rollers, etc.) may not be used on synthetic wigs. Human hair wigs are the most natural looking and feeling hair pieces. They can also be styled and colored just as if it were your own hair. Human hair wigs are cooler and lighter weight.
