These are the abbreviated designations for the two performance levels of drivers we offer. Performance grade Silver Iris and Sterling grade Silver Iris. In casual conversation it takes too long to write out Sterling Silver Iris 15″ open baffle specific coaxial drivers, so we simply refer to them as the Sterling’s or SSI’s.
