Whats the difference between sketching graphs and drawing graphs?

0

Sketching is a rough approximation. You sketch a graph just to get an idea of what a formula means. It generally features the formula’s main characteristics, such as the appearance of (local) maxima and minima and where it’s rising or falling. Accuracy is not important. In drawing you try to make the graph as accurate as possible. Requires a lot more information than sketching, so you usually only do this when you have to, like when you’re asked to in an exam or when you have to make a presentation.
