What’s the difference between Shirts Laundered, Shirts Cold-Washed and Shirts Dry Cleaned?

0

Shirts Laundered & Pressed – This applies to Business Attire shirts and most shirts that are made of 100% cotton and that don’t have bright/dark colors. Shirts Cold-washed/Dry cleaned – Bright/dark colored shirts are cold-washed. The difference between normal shirt laundry and cold-wash is that the normal process of shirt laundry goes through a machine press while cold-washed shirts are hand-ironed, which ensures that they don’t have that shine that you might see on some garments after they are ironed. In summary, the objective is that your dark/bright colored shirts will look like new for 3-4 years of usage. Some shirts require dry cleaning either based on the shirt’s label or based on the owners’ request.
