Whats the difference between REScheck-Web and the REScheck desktop application?
REScheck-Web is the web-based version of the REScheck software. It performs like the desktop version, but doesn’t require you to download or install anything. Saved projects are kept in our database, which is backed up daily. This allows you to access your data anywhere there’s an Internet connection. Please note that if the maximum SHGC requirement applies for the location (locations with < 3500 HDD for the 1998 IECC and 2000 IECC), it is handled in REScheck-Web as a mandatory requirement. In other words, REScheck-Web presumes that the user meets this requirement and, in the applicable locations, adds a notation on the compliance report that the "Maximum SHGC = 0.40" and "Your SHGC = 0.40". The user must confirm this requirement is met before signing and submitting the compliance report.
