Whats the difference between print-on-demand books and eBooks?
With POD books, the electronic files containing the book and the cover are sent to the printer every time your book is ordered. The printer then uses these files to print your book and send it to the customer. eBooks are similar in that the “book” is based on an electronic file. The eBook file contains both the book and the cover image, and the file is delivered directly to the customer. There are some differences between POD and eBook formatting that are necessary to facilitate reading the content. For instance, the back cover and spine are not included in an eBook.
