Whats the difference between polyurethane and waterbasepoly?
There are several differences that are very important. 1. Polyurethane takes eight hours to dry where waterbase takes three hours. 2. Waterbase is lighter in color, where as Polyurethane has a honey tone. A Polyurethane floor usually takes three days complete. A Waterbase floor can usually be done in two. NOTE: if you choose waterbase you must use a commercial grade to equal the durability of poly] Many competitors use a low grade waterbase to give you a lower price, but it will not hold up like a good grade water base or Polyurethane.
