Whats the difference between podiatrists, manicurists and chiropodists? – How does what they do differ?
Manicurists make your feet pretty. Podiatrists deal with pain in the foot, especially relating to the nail – for example, I had “surgery” on my toe where they cut off 1/3 of the nail that had been ingrowing chronically. They froze my toe, cut off the nail, and then pulled out the root. Chiropodists deal with the bones of the foot specifically.
