Both Simulators support the latest WAP2.0 standards and XHTML/CSS and both Simulators have a messaging client that supports end to end testing of creation and delivery of MMS messages. Phone Simulator V7 has the latest browser and introduced some markup enhancements. Also, the messaging client in Phone Simulator V7 has been updated. Phone Simulator V7 provides WAP/WSP and HTTP access in a single executable. Both releases of the PhoneSimulator 6.2.2 include a robust network informatoin window with valuable debugging informatoin, and an HTTP direct mode where websites can be viewed without the need to connect through a proxy. The core difference is the version of the browser that is contained within the simulator.
