Whats the difference between peppermint and spearmint?
The Mint family has lots of different varieties just like the Apples! There is a bit of difference in the taste of the peppermint and the spearmint. To see which you like best do this: one leaf of each plant. eat one leaf, and think about it, eat a cracker with cheese and follow it with a slice of apple. Then eat the other leaf and follow it with the cheese, cracker and apple slice. Decide for yourself which would be best for your mint sauce by how it tastes. Otherwise, you could use half and half to make your mint sauce and just say it is MINT!
