Whats the difference between ordinal and continus data?
This is usually expressed as the difference between discrete and continuous data. I wonder if that is what you were really asking about. Discrete data takes only set values and nothing in between (usually whole numbers but not necessarily). Continuous data can take any value within a specified interval (which may be unlimited). A good way to remember the difference is your feet. Your foot length is continuous. Your shoe size is discrete. The difference is the source of much pain! Height like foot length is continuous.
