Whats the difference between OBE and Near Death Experience?
This is how I think of it: The out-of-body experience is one typical feature of a Near Death Experience (NDE). Typical NDEs have some other common features that aren’t usually found in an OBE (although that doesn’t mean they can’t happen). Some of these features are: Gliding down a tunnel, having your life flash before your eyes, seeing a bright light, meeting dead relatives or friends and being told it is “not your time.” Also, NDEs usually happen during times of bodily trauma. OBEs often happen from a state of perfect health.
