• There really is no difference. The NetID and password is the ID and password for your Proxy Account. To find this, go to the NetID Website. • What happened to my old Proxy Account before the Net ID was established? • All of the old Proxy Accounts are no longer active. It is recommended that all users switch to the new NetID and password for proxy. The reason for this is that the old proxy accounts had been set for end-date and they now no longer work.
