Whats the difference between my merchant bank, an authorizing network, and Merchant Partners?
The merchant bank that issues you a Merchant Credit Card Account contracts with a processor to handle credit card processing for it. The Merchant Partners payment gateway provides a “bridge” between the merchant’s website (using a secure Internet connection from the merchant’s website to Merchant Partners) and the processor (using leased lines from Merchant Partners to the processor).
