MinuteMan is best when you have one or a few projects. MinuteManPlus is better when you have to keep track of multiple projects. One MinuteMan project file will handle individual projects of up to 200 tasks each (although there is a mode where you can have 5 subprojects of 200 tasks each). MinuteManPlus can handle up to 100 projects of 200 tasks each.
