Whats the Difference between Metamucil, Psyllium Hulls and Psyllium Husk?

Psyllium hulls are the same as psyllium husk. Metamucil is psyllium hulls that have been ground up and mixed with either sucrose (regular metamucil) or sweetener and orange flavoring (orange flavored metamucil). The “Equate” brand of fiber at Wal-mart is in fact “generic” metamucil, and much, much cheaper.
