Whats the difference between MasterTaq and Taq polymerase?
The MasterTaq kit contains Taq DNA polymerase and the TaqMaster® enhancer. TaqMaster has been specially developed to improve the amplification of difficult templates by stabilizing the Taq DNA Polymerase during the reaction procedure. TaqMaster improves the thermostability of the enzyme and makes it less sensitive to exogenous PCR-inhibiting contamination. Impure and GC-rich templates show increased yields and reproducible results.
