– Lisinopril is an Angiotensin Converting Enzyme inhibitor. It prevents the conversion of Angiotensin 1 to Angiotensin 2. Cozaar is an Angiotensin Receptor Blocker. It blocks the activation of Angiotensin II receptors. The difference is confusing to those outside of medicine.
