Whats the difference between liquidation and Trade out?
Liquidation performs the following: 1. Cancels your working orders. 2. Sends an opposing market order and verifies you are flat. What does this mean? The system first waits for an exchange authorization to cancel all your working orders. Only after your working orders are cancelled, does the system send an opposing market order to your current position, making you flat. On the other hand, Trade Out is a panic button. 1. It sends an opposing market order to your current position. 2. It does not necessarily wait till the exchange cancels your orders, thus, it may bring you close to your trading limit.
