Limewire is not a good software. It clashes with IE and does not allow you to open pages. Limewire Pro uses turbocharged connection while Limewire Basic uses normal connection(slower). You might have to re-install the OS or go to control pannel-add or remove programs-remove windows componnents-IE. If at all Limewire asks you to set limewire search as default, never select yes. It appears when you start limewire.
