Whats the difference between liberalism and conservatism?
Liberals and conservatives differ in their fundamental view of the world. The conservative focus is on what it sees as the governing class. This group is seen as the source of the economic strength that sustains society. That status gives it more societal equity than those with less property and its intellect gives it the responsibility to use government to protect that equity. Liberals see government as the tool that protects those who need protection and creates a higher quality of life for all its citizens, not just those who have political or economic power. In many ways conversatives see the world through the eyes of fear while liberals see it with hope. These are fundamentally different ways of viewing a nation and it’s no wonder that the two camps clash on almost every issue. Radical Conservatism is even more extreme. It’s views are absolute.
