Whats the difference between Lapwing and EduRoam?
The University’s Lapwing service can also be used for wireless access via EduRoam in some (but not all) locations; the Library is one of the lcoations at which you can use EduRoam. There are several reasons why you may find EduRoam preferable: • Certain library e-resources do not work properly via LapWing but do work properly via EduRoam • You do not have to worry about a “keep alive” window. • If you configure your computer properly before you leave Cambridge, you can use the EduRoam service at other universities (if they participate). • If you are from another university which participates in EduRoam and you configured your computer while at your home university, you can use EduRoam here.
