Whats the difference between Juvederm and Radiesse?
Radiesse is a wrinkle treatment to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds around the nose and mouth. It is made of unique calcium-based microspheres that are suspended in a water-based gel and injected into the skin through a simple, safe and minimally invasive procedure. Juvederm is a Hyaluronic acid which a natural substance found in the skin and works to trap water and maintain the intercellular space within the dermis. As our skin ages, hyaluronic acid, collagen and elastin are gradually lost from the dermis. the end result is volume loss, skin laxity, and wrinkles. Juvederm and other hyaluronic acids work to repair this.
