JAVA is built into the operating system of most every personal computer used today and therefore JAVA content does not require any additional software download to view it. However, JAVA has traditionally not worked well on MAC computers and is very limited with user interactions and virtual tours. QTVR stands for QuickTime Virtual Reality and is a technology that creates a more integrated experience than JAVA and can include sound. QTVR is free software download for all platforms and preinstalled into every MAC as well as some Windows machines on delivery. However, some users do not want to download software they are not familiar with. FLASH content reaches 99% of Internet viewers.
