These are all sweeping generalizations, what you should do is go to wikipedia and dive into these areas more. Finance is stocks and bonds. Finance research is researching finance. (see above) Investment banking is complex but it doesn’t neccessarily have to do with “investing” people’s money. You facilitate mergers and IPO’s. Business is anything where money is exchanged for goods & services.
