Whats the difference between iBuddy and iChat Buddy?
iBuddy is strictly for iChatters.com. It is completely separate from iChatAV and has absolutely nothing to do with your iChat Buddy list. iChatters.com does not have access to your iChatAV account and therefore cannot check your buddy list to keep them in sync. There is a link on iChatters.com for “Make iChat Buddy” which simple sends a message to iChat and tells it to add that person as a buddy. iChatAV does the rest from there.
