Whats the difference between HSAP, PSAT, and SAT?
The HSAP is the High School Assessment Program. This is the test that you must pass to graduate. I believe the scores are one, two, three, and four. You must make a two to pass. The SAT is the test that you need to take in your junior or senior year in High School. You will put the scores of this test on your college applications, and how well you do on it will affect your acceptance and scholarships. The PSAT is the practice version of the SAT. Usually people suggest taking the PSAT in the 10th grade to practice, then begin taking the SAT in the Junior year, so you can also take it again if you do not make the score you want. If you do not do well on the SAT, an alternate test is the ACT, which better accommodates students that are more math/science oriented.
