Whats the difference between Homeopathy and Naturopathy?

0

Naturopathy is a large field of natural medicine which works to treat symptoms using special diets, exercise regimens, herbs, vitamin supplements, etc. There are two main differences with homeopathy; we only use homeopathic remedies as the basis for our treatment, and we only use those remedies to naturally stimulate a persons immunity to heal itself. A homeopath looks for cause & effect relationships wherever they may exist; mentally, emotionally, or physically. The remedies are specifically chosen for their ability to stimulate the bodys innate healing processes. I heard that you should avoid caffeine while taking homeopathic remedies. Classical homeopathic literature suggests that taking coffee, mint, camphor or other such stimulating substances may antidote homeopathic treatment. A lot of evidence does support this theory, however not everyone has the same degree of sensitiveness and the majority of people experience beneficial results while not abstaining from coffee.
