Whats the difference between high-yield & low-yield cartridges?
High-yield cartridges usually contain as much as twice the ink or toner of a low-yield cartridge. Starter cartridges, those you receive when you buy a new printer, often contain less ink or toner than even a low-yield cartridge. Some printers will only accept either a high-yield or low-yield cartridge. Others will accept both. The documentation that came with your printer or the manufacturer’s website should be able to tell you exactly which cartridges can be used with your printer. If high-yield cartridges are an option, and you do a lot of printing, high-yield cartridges will last you longer and require fewer trips to Cartridge World.
