Whats the difference between germs and bacteria?
Germ is a general term for harmful microorganisms, which can include some bacteria, fungi, or protists. It may also include viruses and other things. Bacteria belong to the Eubacteria domain of life. They are prokaryotes (no internal membranes/organelles). Although some are called ‘germs’, most do not harm us. Some even produce their own food through photosynthesis, such as cyanobacteria.
