Ordinary GCSE science is a basic course, recommended for people who are not entirely passionate about science. Additional GCSE Science is an advanced course. If you wanted to take Science at College after GCSE then the additional course would be required. It covers all topics in Science and goes into enough detail that the qualification is good enough to get into College Science with. The ordinary course covers all topics but in much less detail and is more basic and much easier and they won’t accept you into college Science courses with it.
