What’s the difference between G.I.F.T. boards and other traditional snowboards?
What separates G.I.F.T. project products is philosophy—G.I.F.T. is always constructed with the lowest possible impact on the environment. It’s our belief there is no ‘magic bullet’ to help the environment, so we take small steps each year with G.I.F.T. to reduce our footprint. Ideas developed as G.I.F.T. project initiatives improve the entire product line and teach us more efficient ways to produce snowboard gear. G.I.F.T. is a leadership area toward Salomon—and good for keeping the snow falling all winter long. All of the G.I.F.T. boards use Bamboo, as it’s a naturally lightweight and lively material. When combined with our ABC construction platform it’s a lighter and smoother ride than traditional construction.
