Whats the difference between DVD-RW and a CD-RW. Canyou record music from an LP to both?

The difference between the two is size. A CD-RW can typically hold around 700 MB (megabytes) (this should be stated on the disc itself) whereas a DVD-RW can hold around 4.7GB (gigabytes). The drive also has to be capable of writing to these types of discs. Pretty much any DVD writer will write to a CD-R or CD-RW, but if you have an older drive it may ony write to CDs and not to DVDs. You will also want to decide what device(s) you’re going to use to play these back. If you’re going to use DVD media, the device you’re going to use to play these has to be able to read the DVD-R or DVD-RW. If you have a dedicated CD player then you’ll need to record them with CD-RW (and be sure they can play the audio format you’re using). Most new DVD players will also play audio music files (MP3 and sometimes others) along with music CDs that you buy. Check out the following for a large selection of discs: www.meritline.com
