What’s the difference between dual enrollment and afternoon college?

0

Dual enrollment is when high school students are enrolled and registered in regular day or evening college classes. To dual enroll, students must present a completed Dual Enrollment recommendation form. Forms are available in the high school guidance office or in the A-B Tech Admissions office. Afternoon College classes are scheduled on the A-B Tech campus during the 3rd and 4th periods of the high school day. The majority of those attending Afternoon College classses are students from area high schools. Recommendation forms are not required, but students must meet prerequisite requirements. Both programs are tuition-free, but students are required to purchase textbooks and materials.
