Whats the difference between dual core processors and core 2 duo?
From memory, and I may be wrong: Intel dual core processors are two cores stuck on a single die. They talk to each other, but aren’t so good at working together because they weren’t designed that way except at the last minute (to beat AMD’s X2) Intel Core2Duo is two cores which talk to each other and work with each other on a single die – a real dual core die.
