What’s the difference between dropping a course and withdrawing from a course?
Dropping a course must be done within the first ten days of each semester. A dropped course will not show on a student’s transcript. Withdrawing form a course is allowed after the drop period and before the end of the twelfth week of class. A course from which a student withdraws will be indicated as a “W” grade on a transcript.
