Whats the difference between dark matter and antimatter?
Dark matter is the name given to the unknown kind of mass needed to explain the observed features of galaxies that can’t be accounted for with ‘regular’ mass. Anti-matter is exactly the same as ‘regular’ matter except that it has an opposite electrical charge. For example, the electron has a negative electrical charge while its anti-matter twin, called a positron, has a positive electrical charge. When anti-matter and matter come into contact they instantly and completely annihilate each other.
