Whats the difference between dark blue and navy blue?
I will give this a whirl. Navy Blue is a description of a particular color or shade, which happens to be blue in base but is in fact nearly black. “Dark blue” simply describes a state of apparent lightness, regardless of the actual shade. In other words, navy blue is specific, and dark blue is general. The top bar of this site could be considered dark blue, but it could not be considered navy blue.
