What’s the difference between changing courses and transferring to new course rules?

Changing courses is when you want to change from one degree to another. To do this you need to apply for entry into the new course and apply for advanced standing for the units you have already completed in the old course. You would have to do this if you wanted to change from the MAAL degree to the MAAL (Hons) degree (and vice versa) for example. (Note there are progression requirements of a Distinction average to be eligible to complete the MAAL (Hons)).
