CDMA – Code Division Multiple Access, ( for better tune quality, transmitted through cable & then through wireless transmission) GSM – Global System of Mobile (towers are the means for transmission). Frequency of transmission is different in CDMA & GSM. In GSM system SIM card can be changed, but in CDMA system SIM card can’t be changed.
