Whats the difference between Catch-A-Call and Catch-A-Call MAX?
BOTH allow you to receive calls and faxes while you are on the Internet. The difference between the two is that Catch-A-Call MAX will also route incoming fax calls to your fax machine while you are away. If a fax call comes in while you are gone and your answering machine picks up, Catch-A-Call MAX will “listen” for a fax tone. If it detects one, it will automatically route the call to the attached fax machine. When Catch-A-Call alerts me of an incoming call while I am online, and I choose NOT to take the call, will the caller be forwarded to my answering machine? What about voice mail? Callers will NOT be forwarded to your answering machine, but they WILL be forwarded to voice mail, if you have that service. Your connection will NOT be lost if you choose not to take the call. When I get an incoming call while I am online, will Catch-A-Call ring or will my phone ring? Can I answer using ANY phone in the house? Only Catch-A-Call will ring (and flash a red light).
