Whats the difference between blocking a friend and deleting a friend?

0

When you remove (or delete) a friend, he or she is removed from your list of friends and cannot send you a message or share items, lists, or content with you. Your deleted friend’s activity will no longer show up in your activity feed. When you block a friend, he/she can send you messages, share items, lists, or other content with you, but you just won’t receive it. Your now blocked friend’s activity will no longer show up in your activity feed – unless he or she hits “Reply to All” to a group email that you were included in; in that case, you will see his or her reply. In both cases, your friend will not be alerted of the block or deletion.
