In the USA, the”D” cells, “C” cells”, “AA” cells, and “AAA” cells are almost the same except for the amount of chemicals that they contain. The bigger batteries just last longer. Otherwise they are exactly the same 9-volt batteries are different. If we break open a 9-volt battery, we’ll find six little 1.5-volt batteries inside of it. The same is true of 6-volt lantern batteries. Open up a 6-volt battery, and you’ll find four 1.5-volt batteries inside.
