Whats the difference between being optimistic and delusional?

0

To delude is to mislead the mind or judgment of. To deceive. First, I wanna posit that if you are misleading yourself about how your life will be better, you are not optimistic, you are, in fact, delusional. If you are deceiving yourself that things will get better, you are not optimistic, you are deluded. Secondly, I wanna suggest that optimism is rooted in a strong sound mind. Depressed people for example, are not very optimistic. Optimism is a very strong high energy vibration. I consider myself chronically optimistic. As a result, I find it very easy to be genuinely happy.
