Whats the difference between architecture and architectural engineering?
Architectural engineers focus on the math/engineering aspects of building design (loads, etc.) — the structural and functional elements. Architects need to understand that but also focus on the artisitic elements of design. Good ones usually make more than the engineers. If you go to a college that has a good school of architecture, they will help you with course selection. If you are in high school, find out whether you can take a CAD class. That’s computer-aided drafting–that would be perfect for you.
