Ultimately, there is no difference between applying using DePaul’s Application for Freshman Admission and the Common Application. The Common Application allows students to fill out one application that can be submitted to a number of schools and is available August 1. Students who choose to apply via the Common Application also will have to submit DePaul’s Supplement to the Common Application. If you are interested in applying using the online DePaul Application for Freshman Admission, you can get started at depaul.edu/apply. The application for freshman fall 2012 admission will be available beginning in August 2011. We strongly encourage you to apply online, which allows for a more streamlined admission consideration process, or you may download and apply using a paper application. The application fee to apply online is $25. To apply using the paper application, the fee is $40.
