Whats the difference between an open boarded gate and a close boarded gate?

0

Our close boarded gates have tongue and groove boarding fitted into them meaning you cannot see through the boarding. In an open boarded gate the tongue and groove boarding is replaced by timber infill with gaps of no more than 2″ (50mm) between each piece of timber infill meaning that the gates can be seen through. An example of an open boarded gate can be viewed here.
