An “Open” order is an order that has not yet been billed in its entirety there are still items for which an invoice has not yet been generated. A “Closed” order is an order for which all items have been billed an invoice has been generated for each item in the order or the order was paid via credit card (an order that is paid with a credit card is immediately billed and is closed once the order is placed).
