For Official visits the school usually arranges for and pays transportation to and from the school and room and board while the student is at the school. Most Official visits occur on specific days (frequently Homecoming weekend or other important athletic event weekends – to showcase the school’s athletic program) and include spending time with the coaching staff, other athletes and other current students on campus.
